An extension of Present Standards, this project is a collection of free creative and productivity tools for designers, image makers and visual creatives alike. It is a space for research and experimentation, focused on creative and productivity software that aims to remove friction from workflows, producing creative assets, and modifying, editing and transforming visual material. Through this space, we want to explore product experiences that feel unique, useful and powerful in the way they are used, embracing new technologies and experimenting with what they make possible, thoughtfully embedding them into the tools we create. Every release is free to use and will remain so for life, with an emphasis on local ownership wherever possible. We reject the idea that creators should have to pay monthly subscriptions simply to access the basic tools of creation. While our codebase is not fully open source, Present Standards .io is built around open-source principles: openness, independence and shared creative possibility. Our tools are available completely free of charge, without advertising, subscriptions or paywalls. No account is required.
